The University of Maine Men's Club Hockey team is an intercollegiate, competitive Division II hockey club.  We are members of the Amateur Athletic Union College Hockey league (AAU) and  Empire Collegiate Hockey Conference (ECHC).

We play highly competitive teams throughout the northeast which consist of Mass Maritime, Bishops University, Anna Maria College, Babson College etc. 

 

The season begins in late September and runs until the beginning of April.  Our team plays an average of 20-25 games each season with about one to two games per weekend.  We also practice two times per week.

 

Tryouts typically occur during the second week of school.  We recommend you bring your hockey gear when you move in and contact us with any questions.

Our home ice rink is Alfond Arena which is located on campus right next to the football field.
